Video mapping & live show
Residency
Laurent Moulin, Franck Ternier – IDEAL CRASH (France)

For the first time, the Video Mapping Festival merges mapping with live show! A creation that will show the encounter between mapping and dance in the Art Deco environment of the City Hall.

Performance created by IDEAL CRASH (France) as part of a creation residency.

RAW
Frontal, bewitching, poetic and brutal… RAW is an ephemeral AV installation tailored to the Hall of the Lille City Hall.
The place is a gallery, lined with large and robust columns, elegantly sculpted, on which rests a gigantic administrative corridor, synonymous of power and symbolising the smallness of the individual in the universe.
How can we express ourselves in this place of dominance with its overwhelming verticality?
Lady Madskillz and Junior Tiger will deliver a disjointed choreography, as if inhabited by a resistance. They challenge us in order to take us through their dances, their struggles and remind us the will to resist, the rage to stand up despite the shortness of breath.

The world that is falling apart.
And we continue to play blind.
Resist with words, art, the body…

RAW follows two creations by the Ideal Crash/ collective: Riot and Animal Party, two short films questioning the place of the body when speech is no longer heard or is impossible.

Artists: Laurent Moulin, Frank Ternier – www.idealcrash.myportfolio.com
